It is not necessary to be a member of this site in order to have a rant
However, membership offers certain benefits:
- You will be a part of the official I am Pissed Off Community
- Your tag/nickname/username will automatically be added to your rants. That way, your rants are always attributed to you, no-one can impersonate you, and you can safely build your identity on this site. Non-logged-in members can't add tags to their rants
- You get to add an image/avatar to your profile which is displayed on all your rants
- You can avoid the rules: Logged-in members are allowed to create rants that don't abide by the rules (these rants are only visible to other logged-in members)
- You can see all the rants on the site, not just the ones that abide by the rules
- You can paste into a rant/response (e.g. you can write your rant in Word and then copy&paste it into a rant)
- When visiting the chat page, you are logged in automatically with your chosen username
- You can subscribe to receive email notifications about responses to ANY rant, not just your own
