Chat Room

The IamPissedOff.com chat system has been removed.

This website is about allowing people who are pissed off at something to freely and publicly rant about it.  The chat room does not fit in with that philosophy, and never did.  It was added to the site as an experiment, simply because the technology was available.  That experiment is now over, as the chat room caused more problems that it was worth.

If you REALLY want to chat with other people from the IamPissedOff.com website, then find yourself an IRC client (such as mIRC), dowload it, install it on your computer, log in, create yourself a chat room (called anything you want), and put a members-only rant on this site containing the name of the chat room so that other people on this site can find your new room.

There will no longer be an officially endorsed IamPissedOff.com room on the IRC servers.

Update:  Wife Smasher is maintaining the original chatroom, if people still want to go there.  The channel name is #iampissedoff.  You will need IRC software to access it, or you can log into irc.webmaster.com.  Please note, if you visit this channel your are NOT under the auspices of this site - the channel is not moderated by Admin, but by Wife Smasher.  He says he will "run it fairly with the wishes of the users as my mandate".  If you have problems with Smasher's administration of the channel, do NOT complain to me.  I will ignore you.  If you complain twice, I will ban you from the site.

Update 2:  The channel that Smasher is maintaining is the original channel that has always been on the site.  He has actually been administering that channel since mid-2009, so nothing has effectively changed.  If Smasher is not online, you can still access the channel.  Smasher's guide to getting into chat is here.
